City Paper puts Journeys South on COVER

Apr 28, 2011 | Mural Arts Program

The new temporary art installation in South Philadelphia telling the story of immigration into that storied neighborhood, is on display now through June 11.  Read a wonderful cover story in City Paper about Michelle Ortiz and Tony Rocco’s awnings installation along the 9th Street Market.  The Mural Arts Program is going off the wall with these four non-mural projects. Go see it on one of the free Saturday tours. See muralarts.org for information.
