Mural Arts hosts symposium on issues around mass incarceration

The Mural Arts Program hosted a regional symposium, “Beyond the Wall: A Symposium on Mass Incarceration," on April 15. The symposium brought together different voices to examine issues from all sides. It also focused on ways in which art can help inmates adjust to life after prison. Vernon Clark from The Philadelphia Inquirer attended the event.
